Famous rapper ‘PnB Rock’ shot dead in an alleged robbery. The gunman who killed PnB Rock at the restaurant in Los Angeles demanded jewelry before opening fire at him, Police Chief Michel Moore said in a statement on Tuesday.
The chief mentioned that the assault took place immediately after the rapper was mentioned on social media as being present at the restaurant. Authorities are currently probing whether this prompted the attack.
PnB Rock’s real name was Rakim Allen. He was at the restaurant with his girlfriend, who had posted a location-tagged photo just before the attack.
“He was at the restaurant with his family and girlfriend, when he was attacked by a guy who supposedly came to the location after the social media post,” Chief added.
Investigation Underway
Police Capt. Kelly Muniz said that he was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead at 1:59 PM sharp.
According to a responsible authorities, they are examining video footage from inside the restaurant to identify the attacker. They also are checking if any other CCTV cameras have captured any images of the attacker.
Authorities believe that the social media posts in which the rapper PnB Rock was tagged in with the location of the restaurant, led the attacker to his location.
